The New Testament is made up of writings by the early Jesus-community trying to come to terms with his challenging teaching and actions. Most are in the form of letters to individuals or groups, some are memoirs shaped around theological themes. The final document uses primal dream-like symbols to interpret the times.

What are the key skills we need today; if we are to interpret these writings with spiritual sensitivity, and then proceed to experiment with their ideas in daily life, to discover the full nature of their truth?
